Beyond the Broom: A Dive into our Founder’s Journey

December 19, 2024

With the year drawing to a close, we had the opportunity to be featured on Next Week Today to introduce our founder, Kenia Hylton and share more about Klean n Go Inc. In case you missed our recent episode, we’re excited to share a bit about our founder’s journey and future plans.

Kenia’s journey began in her early childhood. After school, she would visit her grandmother and enjoy helping her with cooking and cleaning. As she grew older, she took on more responsibilities, giving her grandmother peace of mind. Kenia realized that others might need similar help and the idea for Klean N Go was born.

Fun fact: she even came up with the company name during this time, showcasing her early entrepreneurial spirit.

After relocating to St. Thomas, she wanted to create something that would be helpful to others. Inspired by her grandmother’s constant encouragement, she decided to make Klean N Go a reality. Despite her introverted nature, she took a leap of faith and started her business. One valuable lesson she’s learned is that sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone. By doing so, she’s met many great people and fellow business owners. She also acknowledges the support of the county and city, which has made the process of starting her business much easier as they actively support young entrepreneurs.

We at Klean N Go would like to thank the host, Kate Burns Gallagher for the opportunity to share our founder’s story. We’re excited about the future and look forward to sharing more updates as we continue to grow and serve our community. For 2025, our goal is to become even more involved in the community and make a positive impact. Be sure to keep an eye out for where Klean N Go Inc. will pop up next!
